Adrian Sutil

Adrian Sutil is a young F1 racing driver who just came up in the Formula racing in the year 2006. With his performances, he has impressed the whole of media and F1 fans.

An introduction of Adrian Sutil

Born in 1983, he is a F1 driver from Germany. Also a talented pianist, he started his career with karting at the age of 14 and then moved up to the Swiss Formula Ford in 2002. He was the winner of all the ten rounds and won for 5 times in the Formula Masters Austria Championship. He got 6th place in the Formula BMW ADAC championship of 2003 and after that, he joined the Colin Kolles team for Formula 3 Euro Series. Later, he joined the ASM team and A1 Team Germany, all of which were satisfied with his performance.

Sutil entered into the F1 championship in the year 2006 by joining the MF1 racing team. He appeared as third driver from the team for European, Japanese and French Grand Prix. By the end of 2006, he was promoted to be the second driver for the next season and signed a multi-year contract with the team. In 2007, Sutil out-raced and out-qualified Albers, his team mate, at all the Grand Prix. Sutil performed extremely well in the race and out-performed Yamamoto as he also passed drivers from Honda including Jenson Button and Rubens Barrichello.

Sutil had to continue using his old car in the Turkish Grand Prix race and due to problems with fuel pressure, he had to start racing from pits and had to finish 5 laps behind. He was highly praised for his performance in Belgian Grand Prix both by the team and also the media. Spyker did not perform well in the final races of the year and Sutil was not able to finish any of the two. However, he is highly praised for his excellent performances in 2007 F1 championship. Despite the fact that he was driving an outdated car at that time, he has impressed most of his teammates and other drivers.

The year 2008 also saw Sutil with the Force India team with its new name, when first 2 races ended up with mechanical failures. Because Sutil’s car got damaged due to an accident, he had to retire. In October 2008, the Force India team announced that it is going to continue with Sutil. He started the season with good points scoring and performed well in the race. In Australia, he progressed gradually and finished in the 9th place and he finished at the 15th position in Malaysia.

2009 for Adrian Sutil

In Chinese Grand Prix of 2009, he faced a crash and was forced to retire while in Bahrain Grand Prix of 2009, he was penalized during the 1st qualifying session. Sutil got 14th in the Monaco Grand Prix and 17th in the Turkish Grand Prix.
