Jarno Trulli
Jarno Trulli is one of the greatest drivers of the Formula One Grand Prix. He is well known for his qualifying pace and has bagged many podium finishes in the Formula one race.
The History of Jarno Trulli
He joined the Toyota team in 2004 and from that he raced into the Formula one Championship with grace and became one of the leading Grand Prix drivers. He was born in 1974 in a family where everyone was a motor sports fan. This in itself formed the base for him to be attracted to this sport. From his childhood he participated in many competitions and won prizes in all of them. From 1995 onwards, he entered into the single seater, where he first entered into German Formula Three series. In that season he only won two races in six. In the next year he bagged the championship by winning all six of the races and was under the support of the Benetton Formula One Team.
Jarno Trulli Makes His Debut
Jarno Trulli got a chance from Minardi in Australia. He made his debut for that team and did well in all early outings. Then he got another lucky chance in the pro mid season to replace injured Olivier Panis. But this position was only temporary. Shortly after he got his full time seat in the next two seasons representing his team with the Frenchman. He had many difficulties in reaching the podium throughout that season and at last he won the second place in the wet 1999 European Grand Prix. In 2000, he moved to Jordan and proved his potency by qualifying in first row positions at Monaco and Spain. He was very impressive through out the season and started from the top 10 positions in 13 occasions however, he was unable to take the podium and could only reach the 4th position for that particular race.
In 2002 he signed a contract once again with Renault, which was formerly known as Benetton and this was his debutant team in Formula Three race. His teammate was Jenson Button. But in 2003, things changed and Trulli took the podium for the first time in Hockenheim and also in that season he started the race from the front row for two more races.
Jarno Trulli Later Years
In his career, the 2004 season was very noteworthy and he won the race by taking pole position for the first time at Monaco and he also took the pole position in Spain during the same season but was unable to finish in the podium. After that he broke up with Renault for various reasons and joined Toyota. After joining Toyota his range in Formula One went sky high and he began to take the podium many times and gained a top ten position in the Driver’s championship. His consistent performance throughout the season helped Toyota to keep up their pace in the Team’s Championship and they are doing well all because of the amazing person, Jarno Trulli.
