COMMERCIALBANK GRAND PRIX OF QATAR (Losail Circuit)

Losail International Circuit is a motor racing circuit located just outside Doha in the Persian Gulf State of Qatar. It was built by 1000 workers and opened in 2004. The track costs $58 million USD. It is surrounded by artificial grass to stop the sand encroaching too much onto the track. Losail International Circuit itself is flowing layout 5.4 km in length, with a main straight of just over a kilometer at 1,068 meters.

GRAND PRIX OF JAPAN (Motegi)

The Japanese motorcycle Grand Prix is a motorcycling event that is part of the Grand Prix motorcycle racing season. It is held at Twin Ring Motegi circuit. Motegi became the home to MotoGP in 2000. It is a racing track located at Motegi, Japan.It was built in 1997 by Honda. Located amongst the vest natural beauty of the northern Kanto district, the twin ring circuit. consists of a 1,5 mile oval and a 2,9 mile road course constructed to international stands.

GRAN PREMIO bwin DE ESPAÑA (Jerez)

The Spanish motorcycle Grand Prix is a motorcycling event that is part of the FIM Grand Prix motorcycle racing season. It is held at Circuito Permanente de Jerez. It is one of the most popular MotoGP venues and the focal point for a city fanatical about sport. This is a 4,428 meter (2.752 miles) racing circuit located in the city of Jerez de la Frontera, deep within the sherry -producing south of Spain. It was built by Alessandro Rocci, who was also in charge of Circuito Permanente del Jarama’s project.

MONSTER ENERGY GRAND PRIX DE FRANCE (Le Mans)

The French motorcycle Grand Prix is a motorcycling event that is part of the World Motorcycle Racing season. It is held at the Bugatti Circuit. The track located in Le Mans, France, named after Ettore Bugatti. Le Mans is a tight track dominated by first gear corners that place the emphasis on late braking and hard acceleration, whilst rear end traction is also a key area.

GRAN PREMIO D’ITALIA TIM (Mugello)

The Italian motorcycle Grand Prix is a motorcycling event that is part of the Grand Prix motorcycle racing season. From 1949 to 1990 the event was known as the Nations Grand Prix. It was one of the original rounds of the Grand Prix motorcycle racing calendar. The race was held exclusively at Monza for the first 23 years of its existence. Since 1994 it has been held at the Mugello Circuit. This is a race track located in the Mugello region of Italy near Florence.

AIRASIA BRITISH GRAND PRIX (Silverstone)

The British motorcycle Grand Prix is a motorcycling event that is part of the World Motorcycle Racing season. For 2010 Silverstone is taking over from Donington Park after the circuit was deemed “un-raceable” due to the postponed construction that had commenced in 2009.

TT ASSEN (Assen)

The Dutch TT is a motorcycling event, traditionally held on the last Saturday of June at the TT Circuit Assen in the Netherlands, as part of the MotoGP World Championship. The circuit where the race is held is known as “The Cathedral” of motorcycling.

GRAN PREMI APEROL DE CATALUNYA (Circuit de Catalunya)

The Catalan motorcycle Grand Prix is a motorcycling event held at the Circuit de Catalunya in Montmeló, Catalonia, as part of the Grand Prix motorcycle racing season. In 1989, through the joint collaboration of the Catalan Autonomous Government, the Montmel. Town Council and the Royal Automobile Club of Catalunya (RACC), work began on giving one of Europe’s most beautiful cities a state of the art race track to match.

ENI MOTORRAD GRAND PRIX DEUTSCHLAND (Sachsenring)

The German motorcycle Grand Prix, first held in 1925, is since 1952 part of the Grand Prix motorcycle racing World Championship. Since 1998 it is held at the Sachsenring racing circuit. The track is located in Hohenstein-Ernstthal near Chemnitz in Saxony, Germany. Sachsenring is exactly 80 years old – but nevertheless still young. Its varied history makes the Sachsenring attractive, even after all those years.

RED BULL US GRAND PRIX (Mazda Raceway)

The United States motorcycle Grand Prix is a motorcycling event that is part of the Grand Prix motorcycle racing season. It is held at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. It is a paved road racing track used for both auto racing and motorcycle racing, originally constructed in 1957 near Monterey, California, USA. The Californian track played host to Grand Prix events from 1988 to 1994 and returned in 2005.

CARDION AB GRAND PRIX CESKÉ REPUBLIKY (Automotodrom Brno)

The Czech Republic motorcycle Grand Prix is a motorcycling event that is part of the Grand Prix motorcycle racing season. Before 1993, the race was known as the Czechoslovakian motorcycle Grand Prix. Since 1965 the race is a part of World Grand Prix series (between 1982 and 1987 race was held as a part of European Grand Prix series only). It is held at The Masaryk circuit, now referred to as the Brno Circuit. The world’s most famous riders have taken part in GP events in Brno since 1930.

RED BULL INDIANAPOLIS GRAND PRIX (Indianapolis)

The Red Bull Indianapolis Grand Prix is a motorcycling event held at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in Speedway, Indiana, United States as part of the Grand Prix motorcycle racing season. Indianapolis Motor Speedway has a legendary reputation in the world of motorsport. It has existed since 1909, and is the original “Speedway,” the first racing facility historically to incorporate the word.

GP APEROL DI SAN MARINO E DELLA RIVIERA DI RIMINI (Misano)

The San Marino and Rimini Coast’s motorcycle Grand Prix is a motorcycling event that is part of the World Motorcycle Racing season. The name of the race is a misnomer as the race has always taken place in Italy, but because there is already an Italian motorcycle Grand Prix it was called the San Marino Grand Prix because of the tracks position near San Marino. The race was first put the seasons schedule in 1981, but has been taken off and re-introduced a few times. Most recently it was re-introduced for the 2007 season.

MALAYSIAN MOTORCYCLE GRAND PRIX (Sepang Circuit)

The Malaysian motorcycle Grand Prix is a motorcycling event that is part of the Grand Prix motorcycle racing season. It is held at the Sepang International Circuit. The circuit was designed by renowned German designer Hermann Tilke. Specifically built for speed and exciting racing, the Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia is one of the world’s best. Sepang circuit boasts superb pit garage and media facilities, as well as impressive grandstands and patron amenities.

IVECO AUSTRALIAN GRAND PRIX (Phillip Island)

The Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix is a motorcycling event that is part of the Grand Prix motorcycle racing season. It is held each year at the scenic Phillip Island GP Circuit. Phillip Island is steeped in motor racing tradition, with the first car races having been held there on public roads in the 1920s. The first motorcycle races took place in 1931 and a permanent track was built in 1956. The circuit fell into disrepair during late 70s and early 80s until it was bought in 1985 and given an AUS$ 5m facelift. MotoGP returned in 1989 and 1990 before becoming a regular fixture once more from 1997 onwards.

The Portuguese motorcycle Grand Prix is a motorcycling event that is part of the Grand Prix motorcycle racing season. The event was held twice in the 1980s in Spanish circuits. The Estoril circuit was used as a MotoGP venue for the first time in 2000. It was built in 1972 by Fernanda Pires da Silva on a rocky plateau on the Atlantic coast of Portugal, 28km from capital city Lisbon. The beach resort lending its name to the circuit.

GRAN PREMIO GENERALI DE LA COMUNITAT VALENCIANA (Comunitat Valenciana)

The Valencian Community motorcycle Grand Prix is a motorcycling event held in Spain that is part of the Grand Prix motorcycle racing season. It is held at the Circuito de la Comunitat Valenciana. The track was completed in 1999 and held rounds of the MotoGP and Spanish Motorcycle Championships in the same year. It is named after Spanish Grand Prix motorcycle racer Ricardo Tormo.
